Meditation Verse: Psalm 2 “blessed are all who take refuge in Him.”

It’s not exactly been the start to the year that I planned, we caught Covid over Christmas and are all still recovering from the exhaustion it brings.  I’ve not been in the best of moods recently as my precious planned days of holiday have disappeared in a flurry of tissues and cold remedies.  Despite feeling awful, I made myself keep to my morning prayer routine and despite it being a bit of a struggle, I found real blessing in the comfort of it’s rhythms and was treated to the sight of birds actually using our garden bird feeder on cold, winter mornings and wintery garden views that I would otherwise have missed.  As we centre on prayer for 2024, please be assured that the blessings may still be there if you take time out with God.
