Meditation Verse: Psalm 71 “You will comfort me again.”

One of the key aims of a Renew space is to make visitors feel comfortable, this can be tricky during the winter in a cold and draughty church!  I once visited a Renew prayer space in exactly this situation but creatively they had supplied a basket of prayer shawls.  Not only would these knitted blankets offer the comfort of a little extra heat in a coldish place but the knitter had prayed over every stich so the wearer would be surrounded in the comfort of prayer.  How lovely to think that God surrounds us with comfort when we need it most!
