Meditation Verse: Psalm 66 “Come and see what God has done.”

This week’s Psalm is a joyous one and it is likely that it would have been sung.  We’re not very gifted but there’s a lot of singing in our house, Mark has a little song for every occasion, a habit that he picked up from his parents.  It often makes me laugh and is infectious and I find myself joining in! 

After achieving nothing in the garden last year, we’ve decided to try a bit harder this year and thanks to some recent sunny days (a miracle in Rossendale) slow progress is being made, nothing has died yet and the big hole that was dug last year, now has water in and is becoming more pond-like, we just await the wildlife to discover it.  So I guess I’m finding that time in the garden, God’s creation makes my heart sing.  A little time spent outdoors each day has become my new wellbeing habit.  Give it a try, go for a walk and see what God has done while you were away!
