Meditation Verse: Psalm 15 “Speak truth in your heart.”

This is quite a challenging psalm and I must admit that on some days I don’t hit many of it’s aspirations.  God knows that we are not perfect but it is important as Renew hosts to ‘practice what we preach’ and that our behaviour and conversations are consistent with providing an environment of wellbeing.  For example I once visited a Renew space where the lead host was constantly taking phone calls and dashing from one side of the room to another, I felt exhausted just watching all of this frantic activity and wanted to leave as soon as I could.  Remember Matthew 11 says:

“Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
