Meditation Verse: Psalm 7 “In you God do I put my trust.”
This takes me to the beginning of Psalm 46:
“God is our refuge and strength,
always ready to help in times of trouble.
2 So we will not fear when earthquakes come
and the mountains crumble into the sea.
3 Let the oceans roar and foam.
Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge!”
We trust God as our refuge, a place of safety and protection. This is a great comfort in these troubling times. If the news is making you anxious at the moment, may I suggest that you put time aside each day to spend with God in prayer for peace in the global conflicts that we constantly hear about. Imagine yourself safe in His refuge and take strength from knowing that He hears your prayers and petitions.
