Weekly Meditation Verse: Psalm 112 “Light dawns in the darkness”

As we start to see signs of spring, my heart jumps when I see a daffodil or a crocus that has just pushed its way through the earth and up into the light.  The bulbs that have lain dormant over the winter now burst into life!  It can sometimes be a bit like this in some Renew spaces, the host team faithfully turn up for a few months, wondering if anyone will notice that they are being present when suddenly there is a breakthrough, one person leads to another and the word spreads in the local area.  To be honest, the demand for our Renew spaces is generally quite high at the moment after the past few difficult years but each situation is different; maybe now is the time to raise awareness of what your Renew space has to offer, could you have a spring special, where everyone is invited to plant bulbs to take home with them?  There’s lots of Easter resources in the shops, maybe Easter wreaths might be a nice group activity?
