Weekly Meditation Verse: Psalm 109 “He stands at the right hand of the needy one”

This week, as some of you will have noticed, I have been struggling with a dental infection.  It’s been hard on the whole household due to the amount of complaining involved and sleepless nights etc.  The dentist says that the tooth may have to be removed which at the moment sounds like a blessed relief but from previous experience I know to be a bit of an ordeal.  Last time, Mark had to hold my right hand during the procedure because I’m not a good patient, it was such a help – I guess that makes me the needy one. Thank goodness that we always have our God at our right hand, what a comfort!

Isaiah 41:10

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
    Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
    I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”
