Weekly Meditation Verse: Psalm 96 “Bless His Name”

I spent last week on retreat on the North Devon coast with the Renew team, this is extra special as we are only able to meet on Zoom for the rest of the year, so there was lots of catching up over cups of tea, laughter and sometimes tears.  We ate a Christmas dinner together on the Thursday evening and as we sat on the sofas after dinner to play a game or two, we experienced a shared front room (not everyone wanted to play games, so some read and some chatted) a true Renew space made comfortable for the most anxious.  The following morning we shared morning prayer with the waves crashing on the shore, spotting porpoises and seals in the bay, we truly did Bless His name!
