Weekly Meditation Verse: Psalm 87 “All my fountains are in you”

Last week I was booked to make a short presentation on Renew Wellbeing during the service in a local church, due to unforeseen circumstances I was thrown in at the deep end and had to take the whole service in front of a very encouraging but slightly surprised congregation.  Everything didn’t quite go to plan, but we made it through with only a few bumps in the road. If I had known in advance, I would have planned and worried and probably over-prepared. As it was, I just had to give it a go and enjoy the ride! During my working week I spend a lot of time with new groups planning to open Renew spaces, after lots of planning and preparation, they often open up and realise just how simple it is to do, both hosts and regulars are blessed.

As Ruth shared with us this week “The practice of God’s presence that we promote as a charity in regular prayers and meditation times helps us know that He is the source of life and all we need. All our fountains.. are in Him alone.”
