Meditation Verse: Psalm 57 “In the shadow of your wings I take refuge”

As I write this, storm Eowyn is starting to to blow the trees about, and our outdoor cat is hanging around my office in a bad mood.  My mum is a retired primary school teacher and she always said that windy days make the children wild.  So today is a good day to take refuge from both physical and emotional storms under the protection of His wings.  A mother hen will hide and protect her chicks under her wings to keep them safe from harm.  What a beautiful image, just like being wrapped up in a big fluffy blanket of love.
