Weekly Meditation Verse: Psalm 93 “Mightier than the waves of the sea”
Most of you won’t know that I was born near the Ayrshire coast and spent most school holidays visiting family by the seaside. I guess that’s why I like to holiday by the sea and start to relax as soon as I hear the waves hitting the shoreline. This week it has been lovely to see Renew North hosts sharing pictures and memories of the sea, so I’m clearly not on my own in liking the coast. Watching a programme about the RNLI yesterday, the power of the sea is clear and how easily it can sweep away small crafts. God is mightier than this but I believe that He protects us in our small boats, whatever the storm.
