Meditation Verse: Psalm 55 \u201cCast your burden on the Lord and He will sustain you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you read the whole Psalm, David\u2019s anguish and lament is palpable. He has been let down and betrayed by a friend, if this has ever happened to you, you will be able to understand his distress. But at his lowest point he reminds himself that a burden shared with the Lord is a burden eased and God will sustain him. It\\s almost as if he has to say it out loud to remind himself that he is not alone. In difficult experiences it can be hard to lean on God but experience tells me that God knows our needs even when we can\u2019t articulate it. Know that you are sustained through the hardest times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
