{"id":863,"date":"2023-12-06T06:13:00","date_gmt":"2023-12-06T06:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rwnorthblog.org.uk\/?p=863"},"modified":"2023-11-28T12:15:19","modified_gmt":"2023-11-28T12:15:19","slug":"6th-december-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rwnorthblog.org.uk\/?p=863","title":{"rendered":"6th December 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Advent Meditation Verse: Luke 2:10 Immanuel God with us \u2013 Good News!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This advent we will be meditating on the phrase \u201cImmanuel God with us\u201d all month, this week we read in Luke:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<strong><sup>8&nbsp;<\/sup><\/strong>And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night.&nbsp;<strong><sup>9&nbsp;<\/sup><\/strong>An angel&nbsp;of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.&nbsp;<strong><sup>10&nbsp;<\/sup><\/strong><em>But the angel said to them, \u201cDo not be afraid.&nbsp;I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people<\/em>.&nbsp;<strong><sup>11&nbsp;<\/sup><\/strong>Today in the town of David a Saviour&nbsp;has been born to you; he is the Messiah,&nbsp;the Lord.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How amazing that in this little baby God came to be with us, no wonder the shepherds ran to Bethlehem to see for themselves.\u00a0 Perhaps during the cuteness of a nativity play you could pause to remember the real significance of the baby in the manger being God with us?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"297\" height=\"213\" src=\"https:\/\/rwnorthblog.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-864\"\/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Advent Meditation Verse: Luke 2:10 Immanuel God with us \u2013 Good News!
