Weekly Meditation Verse: Psalm 146 \u201cBlessed is the one whose hope is in God.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As I write this, the news is full of images of war and destruction in Israel and Gaza. For anyone in the middle of this nightmare situation, it must be impossible to feel blessed but further down the Psalm there is more hope in verses 7 and 8 it says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c7 <\/sup><\/strong>He upholds the cause of the oppressed When it seems so hard to know how to pray for this situation it could be helpful to remind ourselves of this week\u2019s meditation phrase.
