Weekly Meditation Verse: Psalm 139 \u201cYou are familiar with all my ways.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When I sit down to write this blog each week, I sometimes have an idea of what I\u2019m about to write but as happened this morning, I read the full Psalm and a fresh idea or memory pops into my mind.\u00a0 I thought it was worth sharing a few more verses with you to explain where I landed with it, Psalm 139<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c1 <\/sup><\/strong>You have searched me, Lord, 13 \u2026<\/sup><\/strong>For you created my inmost being; Those of you who know my background story will remember that 12 years ago I had a serious stroke following a car accident. In the long and pretty frustrating weeks I spent learning to walk and live independently, my best friend often kept me company at weekends in my hospital room, we laughed, talked and I often cried but one day there was a flicker of movement in my left hand for the first time! 2 <\/sup><\/strong>You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
3 <\/sup><\/strong>You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.<\/em><\/strong>
4 <\/sup><\/strong>Before a word is on my tongue
you, Lord, know it completely…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
you knit me together in my mother\u2019s womb.
14 <\/sup><\/strong>I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
