{"id":778,"date":"2023-05-24T18:20:00","date_gmt":"2023-05-24T18:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rwnorthblog.org.uk\/?p=778"},"modified":"2023-05-19T12:20:50","modified_gmt":"2023-05-19T12:20:50","slug":"24th-may-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rwnorthblog.org.uk\/?p=778","title":{"rendered":"24th May 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Weekly Meditation Verse: Psalm 123 \u201cOur eyes look to the Lord.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How often do you pause to take a proper look around you?&nbsp; My parents used to say that I walk around with my eyes shut, in other words I don\u2019t pay attention!&nbsp; If I ever walk past you in the street, I\u2019m not being rude, I\u2019m probably concentrating on trying not to trip or thinking about what\u2019s for tea that night!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A friend of mine once encouraged me to look up to appreciate that breadth of the sky and then look down to appreciate the beauty in the small things such as the grass or a lazy bumblebee.&nbsp; Look up, look down \u2013 it really helps you to @takenotice.&nbsp; It\u2019s also helpful to look to the Lord for reassurance, something I do often.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I Corinthians 2<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<strong><sup>3&nbsp;<\/sup><\/strong>All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort.&nbsp;<strong><sup>4&nbsp;<\/sup><\/strong>He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others.
