Weekly Meditation Verse: Psalm 117 \u201cGreat is His faithfulness.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As we celebrate Easter, it is also Passover this week and I recently read that this Psalm 117 is sung as a song of praise during Passover. It\u2019s a very short Psalm, only two verses but I think it packs a mighty punch, \u201cGreat is His love towards us\u201d and \u201cGreat is His faithfulness.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father
There is no shadow of turning with Thee
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not
As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Great is Thy faithfulness
Great is Thy faithfulness
Morning by morning new mercies I see
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Summer and winter and springtime and harvest
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow
