Meditation Verse: Psalm 70 \u201cYou are my help.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sometimes it can be very hard to ask for help, especially if you are a control freak, like me. Thanks to my left-sided weakness I often have to ask for help with tasks that I would have found easy a few years ago. Thankfully I have a kind family who are happy to help with DIY tasks and lifting heavy things, but this doesn\u2019t stop me wishing that I was more independent! How amazing that our creator God is happy to help little old us, I\u2019ve often referred to the Footsteps poem in my ponderings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMy precious child, I love you<\/p>\n\n\n\n
and I would never leave you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During your times<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of trial and suffering<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When you saw only one set<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of footprints in the sand…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was then<\/strong> that I carried you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Despite my pride I can tell you that God has helped me even when I didn\u2019t ask for it. Don\u2019t be afraid to ask for help, God is with you every step. Psalm 16:8<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI know the LORD is always with me.
