Meditation Verse: Psalm 60 \u201cWith our God we shall do valiantly.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To act valiantly means to be strong and courageous, this week\u2019s Psalm reminds us that we can do this with the help of God. I was not a courageous child, in fact I avoided any new and unfamiliar situation and was likely to panic when the spotlight fell on me \u2013 how things have changed! New learning and pushing my boundaries gives me life these days and I wonder how much I missed out on this in my younger years. My courage is most definitely God-given and I\u2019m thankful every day for the role that I have been given in later life. I am slowly realising that some of my old anxieties are still lurking in the background but I\u2019m better equipped to deal with them these days, I read these passages this morning:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Matthew 6:34 \u201cSo don\u2019t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries.
